Ngong Ping is a high mountain plain on Lantau Island and one of the five temples on Lantau Island. Visit two important temples, Lian Chi Temple (Southern Buddhism style) and Po Lin Monastery (Northern Buddhism style). Explore the history of old Ngong Ping. Ngong Ping used to have a commercial tea plantation. Explore the old tea plantation and tea restaurant. Look for the two mountain gates, which are the symbols of the temple. If the time is right, you can enjoy the blooming of seven varieties of cherry blossoms in Ngong Ping.
